19th May 2018, it is! After announcing the engagement in November, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are going to tie the knot next month on Saturday 19th May. The Ginger Prince, who is formally known as Prince Henry Charles Albert David of Wales, is set to marry Meghan Markle at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle situated in England in a ceremony starting at 12 noon or 7 a.m. EST. When Harry Met Meghan

News broke last year that Prince Harry is dating Meghan Markle, an actress best known for her role in Suits. Since that time, the world has been gripped with curiosity about how they met. In October 2016, rumors began to whirl about their relationship. Just after a few weeks, Harry took on Twitter and issued a rare and unusual statement, rebuking the media for snooping on Meghan’s private life. He also called out the trolls for making racist and sexist comments against her (addressing Meghan as his girlfriend for the first time publicly), and urged the media to stay away from her. In the month of November 2016, Meghan posted a quote by Mahatma Gandhi which was likely to be a response to the statement earlier released by Harry about their relationship and her.Following reports in the same month about Prince Williams being unhappy with the public announcement of Harry and Meghan’s relationship, he released a statement through Kensington Palace in support of the pair. In the months that followed, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were seen together at many public events, including the annual Audi Polo Challenge, a three-week stay in Botswana (where Harry might have proposed to Meghan on her 36th birthday), Pippa’s wedding reception, Invictus Games and also on a few personal romantic dates.

Engagement, leading up to Nuptials

On November 27th, 2017 after 16 months of the relationship, Prince Charles announced the engagement of Harry and Meghan, and a wedding set to happen in spring 2018. There were two photographs released of the couple to celebrate their engagement. One of the images was a close-up shot, and the other was of the couple sitting, hand in hand.
It was also announced that before the wedding, Meghan would be baptised and confirmed in the Church of England.

The Royal Wedding

The wedding is said to be a grand affair with a massive guest list. The list has yet to be made public. We can guess, from the groom’s side, the expected guests are the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall, the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh, Harry’s close friends and also the Duchess of Cambridge. Also, likely guests from Harry’s side would be Ben Fogle, Joss Stone, and Kate’s sister Pippa with husband James Matthews and Natalie Pinkham. From Meghan’s side, likely guests would be her family and friends, including Suits co-actors. After the nuptial vows, the couple will take a carriage procession through Windsor at 1 pm in a hope to provide an opportunity for the entire country to come together and be a part of the special day, as confirmed by a spokesman.
It is likely that the Queen will confer a title to the couple after the wedding as per tradition. It is suggested that Prince Harry could be titled as the Duke of Sussex and Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex.
