Things that cure and prevent traveler’s diarrhea
Diarrhea usually happens because of consuming unhealthy food and not maintaining hygiene before eating. It could also be a result of food intolerance. Some people are lactose intolerant and if they accidentally consume the dairy product, they usually face this problem soon after. Chronic diarrhea is a much serious form of diarrhea, which requires immediate consultation from a doctor. Chronic diarrhea usually lasts for four weeks. Other things that cause diarrhea are a side effect of certain medication, or a viral infection, bacterial infection, intestinal disease, or sometimes even running. Yes, there is something called a runner’s diarrhea. This happens when a runner is running or right after the run. Though the cause for this kind of diarrhea is unknown till now. Things that cure diarrhea can be different from things that prevent diarrhea. For instance, green leafy vegetables prevent diarrhea since they are healthy but will not cure if someone has diarrhea. In fact, one must avoid eating green leafy vegetables if they are suffering from diarrhea. Traveler’s diarrhea is another problem much fear as it is one of the most uncomfortable conditions to face when you are traveling and away from home. This usually happens when the regular healthy diet is being ignored while on travel for the sake of paying more attention to the travel.
